It's been great getting my hands on the miniatures moreso lately. Summers pretty much done, and that means....

 Football? Last weekend kicked it off with more winners! My sweetheart and I had so much fun, I even learned a little bit. Cros-Lex World Champion Little League Softball were honored at halftime of the Varsity game and I completely forgot to pull my camera out for this. Was a bit pre occupied apparently. So much excitement!

 

 I wrapped my weekend up with a visit to my daughter's family up in Northern Michigan and posed with one of her roosters. She's so awesome. Ok, I'll be back to post more when I can. Thanks so much!

Sunday Catchup Post

I am only a week late in posting the winner of the January giveaway. Joanne, of Dali's Dollhouse on eBay Store's was the winner of the Valentine collection. Congrat's Joanne! A very nice lady, and she has some great items offered on eBay. You can take a trip to her store by clicking the link above.

This month the store won't have a giveaway because I thought I'd do something that could involve everyone, like really great deals in the mini sets category. Keep checking back because lots more of these one of a kind sets will be listed. The monthly giveaway will resume in March:)

 

I removed a few listings with drop down menus in the store so you would know exactly how many of what color was available for purchase. Not quite finished with that but I'll update as I'm adding stock this week. Now I'm off to get some emails returned, sets listed, and some candy restocked.

Here’s something new, The Fabulous Farmhouse store inventory availability has changed. Miniatures which are out of stock are no longer available for purchase at checkout. It just won’t work anymore, and this is good, you’ll see:)

These will be more OOAK than not, and I look forward to seeing what I can pull out of my mini hat for these. Thank you to the ladies that have emailed asking for these, we’ll get them going!

Happy 234th Birthday USMC

I borrowed my son and daughter in law's photo from their myspace of them before the Marine's Ball last weekend. Jess is due to deliver around December 6th but if she had it any other way, it would be yesterday:) Poor girl. I can't wait to see my grandbaby, but meanwhile I wanted to share the photo of the handsome couple.

The other bits of news I have is I am expecting the home internet to be up and running by tommorrow midnight, thank God! I've been borrowing the library, the Subway sandwich, and the Seven Services wireless internet locations in the meantime. It will be nice to be back to business as usual from the comfort of my workshop.

Lastly, and I apologize for this delay, the winner of the October miniature giveaway is Gisela. Congrats Gisela, and I will also say if you haven't seen her blog, to stop over there and check it out because she has some adorable miniatures to see! There is a fabulous witch named Mary over there!

Miniature Candy Display October Giveaway

During the month of October, every Fabulous Farmhouse miniatures sale invoice is counted as an entry into a drawing for this counter top hanging candy display filled with eight different hanging candies.

The drawing is being held from 10/01/09 through 10/31/09, winner to be chosen 11/01/09 and announced here on our blog.

Lemon drops, red hot fire balls, neapolitan chocolates, pink marshmallow bunnies, bubble gum, assorted candy, creme de menthe, and candy necklaces are on display for your miniature store, bakery, or scene in 1/12 scale. All of these and more are available to browse in our Hanging Candy selection of the store.

Miniature Halloween Peeps

Wednesday 9/30 is the last day to place an order for entry in our Halloween giveaway. I can't wait! Also, we will be having another in October so be sure to check back to see what it will be. It isn't Halloween I will say that much and more in the store Newsletter coming in the next few days. Unfortunately time hasn't allowed me to get as much Halloween done as I'd hoped to.
