Miniature Dollhouse Mardi Gras Sweets
I always feel more educated when I say that, "Les Bon Temps Roulez" which means "let the good times roll" but sounds like so much more to me a non french speaking American. An air of sophistication if you will, then I've not seen sophistication at Mardi Gras! Far from. Maybe I wasn't at the right party? Oh the tales I will not tell. Anyway when February rolls around I always think of how fun the French Quarter is at Mardi Gras time, incredible music, lots and lots of yummy drinks, the food, oh help me. Today we make Mardi Gras miniatures for the dollhouse or miniature bakery. Sugary sweets with no little plastic baby's inside, because you'd never get the baby out of the sculpey clay anyhow, you wouldn't want to eat these treats. They're listed in the store if you'd like to take a look, and don't forget,
"Les Bon Temps Roulez"
Here is a photo of the last Mardi Gras parade we were at, me holding a sweet cherubic little curly headed diaper boy which is now currently protecting our country in the USMC. HOORAH! My little sweetie! Yes, Happy Mardi Gras!
Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez..... I learn something new every day. You new things look wonderful. The picture of you and your son is the BEST!!!! Hugs to you both. I bet you miss him.
