Say that three times fast!

I have miniature Easter Peeps, Halloween Peeps and now available Christmas Peeps! Starting with gold sprinkled JOY shaped marshmallows, soon there will be red stars, chocolate mousse, and green trees (if I don’t eat them first).

In the store I have more out of stock items than I have hours in the day so if you need something sooner than later just let me know. There are also shelves and benches available and on the way in the store as well. I am just crazy busy and won’t be blogging regularly until after the upcoming Holidays but I will be here getting these minis ready to go, and finding balance in the month of December. On second thought, never mind the balance part, I’ll be here having fun and doing what I love doing. Making minis!

If you haven’t become a fan yet please do because I don’t want you missing out on more new miniatures, more sales, reviews, and discussions. I did begin some miniature photo albums there for you to browse, listing more as time allows. If you have a Facebook profile please add The Fabulous Farmhouse as a friend. Why have a page? Because a Facebook page offers business networking tools not available on a regular profile. The Fabulous Farmhouse Facebook page posts feed to the widget here on the blog, and the blog posts here feed to the other Facebook account. I hope I’m not confusing you, it sounds complicated to me but it really isn’t, it’s rather simple. Whichever way is easiest for you to keep up to date with new miniatures, stories, me complaining about snow (Thankfully not yet though!) and a little bit of this and that. Facebook also has the networked blogs application, and this one seems to me the easiest to keep track of what you’d like to keep up with. The Facebook networked blogs is how I found this most incredible blog about pumpkin dwellings on Cauldron Craft Miniatures blog.

The photos are really something! I know we’re supposed to be focused on Christmas but I’m all for having Halloween in December, I need a Tim Burton Room box or something equally exciting to combine the two holidays! A Big Thank You!

If you've been by The Fabulous Farmhouse recently you probably noticed a few changes. A big Thank You to Anne Gerdes who upgraded and polished up my website last week! I get so happy when I see the new background and font colors, it's like a breathe of fresh air! I didn't change too much, basically just made sure everything was current, running smoothly, a dash of color, Spring cleaning.

A special request for slightly larger than 1/12 ice cream allowed for some practice with something new. I'd never made these before, and you can see my first one I ever made in the photo albums on the right. I'm restocking, and want to let you know both new items as well as previously listed will be available soon. If you haven't been by the store recently, be sure and pop in and see it! A Great Father's Day Gift For Dad?

My son looks pretty enthused to find liver pudding in his local North Carolina grocery store. I can't say I've ever seen it in California, nor here in Michigan. Brent you scored!!! I bet it's a taste of creamy heaven in plastic! I bet you finish it and wish you had more! Let us all know how it tastes little Marine buddy! Later this month Brent and his wife Jess will hopefully find out whether they're first child their expecting will be a boy or a girl. That means next year Brent will be subject to all sorts of Father's Day fun! There are a few things there that will express your appreciation for Dad in miniature.

Miniature Drop Cookies

Miniature drop cookies fill a display and are a delicious bakery sweet treat. Trays of dozens of drop cookies in candy topped chocolate, cherry chip, chocolate chip, and cherry topped. All of these are available in our store sold by the dozen as well as individually wrapped three-packs. These trays can be cut in strips for mix and match, or taken off of the trays completely to set on a plate, etc.

Old Fashioned Candy Sticks

   The Fabulous Farmhouse currently carries 21 assorted varieties of old fashioned hard candy sticks for the miniature collector. Grape, lemon lime, peppermint, rainbow, just to name a few. Our newest display is a perfect way to showcase sweets in your miniature bakery. Sitting on the store counter, the measurement from the floor to the very top bag of candy is 5 1/2". Perfect reach for anyone looking to indulge their sweet tooth.

The display comes in two pieces for multiple displays if you wish. Each measure 7/8" tall for a total measurement of 1 3/4". The display can be set on the floor or the counter for displaying anything miniature you wish! As with our other displays this one is available in other color stripes. Email us with any questions.

Chocolates & Candy Sweets Display Shelf

Here is the pink shelf display filled with individually wrapped chocolates, toffees, gumballs, candy sticks, fudge cakes, cotton candy, and lollipops! Everything you see here can be purchased in our store.

I love the different wrapped chocolate bars because they remind me of chocolates you'd find in a modern candy store, each with it's own unique wrapper and flavor. Do I want hazelnut or mint or white chocolate or raspberry filled? I think I just gained weight typing that.

The chocolates also come inscribed with Mother's Day and Father's Day wishes. I'd have "It's a Boy" or "It's a Girl" but nobody's asked yet, and that is often how items find their way into the farmhouse store. It's on the list. This display can be used for other miniatures than sweets, but why? It's perfectly pink and sweet shop fun.
