It's a Girl!

My son and his wife Jess found out they are having a girl! I begin by congratulating them and then make a miniature chocolate. Right? Yes, absolutely. Naomi Kay, their future little princess is expected around December 6th. She's going to be spoiled, and I can't wait! There is nothing in the world like a new baby to cuddle and talk baby talk to. I get lost in thought wondering where the time went, no worry because the little one's keep us young and give us an excuse to watch great movies like The Lion King again! I swear I get chills every time no matter how many times I've seen them hold that new cub up to show! As soon as Naomi doesn't eat clay, we'll be playing with mini food, and all kinds of other fun stuff. My granddaughter and I are going to have a fabulous time together! This new chocolate and other new items are listed in the store today. Also, hanging candy displays are back in stock as well.

Run! Run! As Fast As You Can!

   Did you know June 5th was National Gingerbread Day? I'll be darned. Never heard of it, but we like it! After a quick internet search I found this great site on gingerbread and some incredible photos in the links section. Gingerbread Lane has recipes, tips on how to make gingerbread houses, as well as candy suggestions.

   This little 1/12 scale glittered gift bag with gingerbread man and more Christmas miniatures tucked inside is now for sale in our store. Individual gingerbread man cookies are available as well. The gingerbread man gift bag with hearts is new this year and is located in our gift bag section. There are currently two gift bags available free with any order while supplies last. You'll find these in the gift bag section as well, simply add them to your cart while shopping. It's never too early to shop for the holidays at The Fabulous Farmhouse.

Holiday Dollhouse Miniatures

   

  

I added a few new holiday dollhouse miniatures to the store today. 4th of July tray of star shaped sugar cookies, orange striped party hats for Halloween, and new miniature Christmas sweets and paper goods including books, wrapped gifts, gift bags, greeting cards and more to come! Since Spring arrived here in Michigan we've been spending lots of time tending to gardening and goofing off but the store is still open and offering every holiday in miniature with new items arriving as requests and inspiration continues:) Thank you for supporting our miniatures store, and the kindness you share with us! Miniature Pies

Pies restocked in our pie section today and more cakes.

 You've probably noticed pies are rarely restocked in my store. It just seems like they are always the last on the list of to do and I don't know why because I really enjoy making them. They look so cute in little mini bakeries. I got a handful of pies completed and listed today and as it is with the cakes once pies are sold the listings are turned off so you won't find these restocked pies in the new items.  Thanks for stopping in, enjoy your weekend!

Miniature Children's Shape Books

Miniature Dollhouse Children's Shape Books

With March being National Reading Month I wanted to get more books made for you. So many to choose from I selected 12 more children's books and some in shapes! Along with the new books post I've changed that music track again. Why the crazy music selection you ask? Well I chose it because those are the songs that played in our house when I was little. Growing up I had my nose in a book often. I didn't grow up with these books, these were before my time. I will be making more books, and some will even be one's I grew up with. Oh, remember weekly reader?  That paper flyer the teacher would pass out with a short description and price of the book. She's always show it right before a test or something and make us wait. Then to finally get my hands on it! Exciting!!! I recommend reading as often as possible to little ones that can't just yet. Not sure what to buy for the little one? A book is always a great choice. Reading is important. Oh and I'm not going to keep that music on for long:) Just thought I'd let ya know. Enjoy!
